New Orleans chic! Anne & Perry are so classic, but also so unique; we had a blast working with them! Their Nola wedding was full of life, color & personality. The suite started with the custom painted save the date, which became a 5 color letterpress print. Pretty Written Things did her thing & recreated Henri Matisse’s handwriting for the save the date note that was also letterpress printed. The fun continued with the invitation, including many colorful & artful components. We went for a little more of a swampy vibe with the addition of the snake on the invitation card & the overgrown florals inside the gas lantern welcome party invitation. The welcome party was held at Bevolo Gas Lanterns in the heart of New Orleans, so we had to add in an extra special reveal card to make it feel that much more special. Through it all, the highlight of the stationery was probably the moveable oyster plate menu cards that also featured Pretty Written Things calligraphy. The second highlight of the day was the custom champagne tower escort card display. It floated above the guest book table & provided a fun hunting experience for the guests before they proceeded into dinner. Setting the tone was key & we nailed it! Anne & Perry are always welcome at Iris + Marie with their clever & fun approach to parties!
