Colleen & Dallas
Where do I even begin with this suite?! The couple planned to get married in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, but COVID-19 had other plans.
Even though Colleen & Dallas’ plans changed, we still were able to send out these absolutely amazing & colorful invitation suites! We were originally inspired by a colorful, patterned rug & began creating our own pattern for the front of the invitation as well as the back. The pattern on the back was letterpress printed & features the couple’s two pets, a dog & a tortoise. The patterned backing was then duplexed to the invitation, making the card 440# instead of the standard 220#. We went for vintage postage to feature some more color as well as a custom stamp with a snippet of the pattern. The reply cards & envelopes were printed on three different sunset colors so that each guest got a different color combination. We wanted the suite to also capture the buildings in San Miguel, which was achieved by creating a custom outer envelope in a papaya color. This suite brings so much happiness & joy to me every time I look at it. Can’t wait for Colleen & Dallas to celebrate their marriage with family & friends next year in Mexico!
