Italian getaway.

From the start, we knew we wanted to combine Tuscany with Lake Como to create a terracotta colored dream. Our biggest inspiration was the Duomo in Florence that Gianna passed everyday while living in Florence. We wanted to combine the feeling she had when she opened her balcony window each day with the intricate designs of the Duomo. Sarah from Free Fall Laser helped us bring the vision to life using paper to create a gate fold enclosure that wrapped around the suite. To signify each guest attending, Karissa from Pretty Written Things wrote each guests’ first name on the enclosure. Lake Como was brought into the suite with the illustrations, which were done in a loose Italian style and with the envelope liner. The envelope liner is an antique Lake Como watercolor painting that shows the true beauty of the lake.
