“We started out solely as a trading business -- trading art for art. I provide handmade dresses and tops in exchange for other artists' creations. Our audience is women aged 18-99, who have a love for sustainable handmade clothing. Our passion is to cater to creatives & create unique pieces that make people feel amazing.

Little Island 79 has a focus of connecting with other artists to create a unique relationship that involves swapping art for art. The brand is quirky, bold, retro & playful. Lindsay, the owner, draws a lot of inspiration from her parents’ generation, the 60’s and 70’s. In particular, she is drawn to the fashions of that time & wants her work to have an ease to it.
