Mary Chris & William

I fell in love with this family from the very first meeting! They were just as excited about paper & their wedding stationery as I was.

We began with their save the date & the loosely illustrated branches that extended across the card. We then played around with shades of blue-gray & slate blue for the invitation suite. One way we incorporated slate blue & more texture was with the use of a handmade paper envelope from Pressed Paper. Mary Chris was inspired by mushrooms & had a woodland vision, so we addled little touches of that throughout the wedding day & stationery. We created many personal touches from the seating chart full of vintage maps of where they traveled together, to the ferns used in the bar signage to represent Mary Chris’ grandmother. No detail or even was overlooked, including the rehearsal dinner. There we incorporated Spanish details from their engagement. The seating chart was inspired by Spanish tiles & the place cards were made from sea pottery from around the globe. Each place card was hand lettered by Calligraphy by Lulu. I wish we could recreate this wedding over & over again, but I guess I’ll just relive it through these amazing photos from Jennings King Photography!
